HOW CERTIFICATION WORKS

What to expect from a certified translation

A certified translation pairs the translated document with a certification statement. Translations First reviews the source, translates the readable content, prepares the certification, and delivers the completed PDF.

The five-step process

  • Upload the complete document and choose the language pair
  • We review readability, pages, price, and timing
  • You approve the confirmed order and submit payment
  • The document is translated and quality-checked
  • The certified PDF is delivered through your selected contact method

Certification is not the same as notarization

Certification describes the translation and the translator’s attestation. Notarization is a separate process involving a notary. If you believe notarization may be required, mention it when submitting the request so the order can be reviewed correctly.

Check the receiving organization’s requirements

The organization receiving your documents decides what it will accept. Requirements can differ, so customers should confirm any special format, delivery, or notarization instructions before ordering.
